Originally from Lithuania, I am a PhD student in the Ivaska lab, where I study how cancer cells adhere to the endothelium and the role immune cells play in the process of cancer cells crossing the vessel wall. I previously graduated with a BSc in Medical and Veterinary Genetics from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and an MSc in Biomedical Imaging from the University of Turku.
