I completed my bachelor’s and master’s studies in China, focusing on cellular senescence and chemotherapy. I then moved to Italy for my PhD study with Prof. Emilio Hirsch's group, where I researched phosphoinositide dynamics and breast cancer metastasis. Following this, I underwent postdoctoral training on Drosophila wing disc development in Prof. Aurelio Teleman's group in Heidelberg, Germany. I am now happy and excited to return to breast cancer research, and its crosstalk with stromal cells using the advanced platforms developed in the Ivaska group. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with friends in nature and staying at home with my cat, active Nera.
