I joined the Ivaska lab in May 2026 as a postdoctoral researcher in bioinformatics to investigate how the tumor-stroma interface controls cancer invasion. I obtained my PhD in immunology in Doc. Maija Hollmén’s lab, using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to investigate tumor-associated macrophage responses to cancer immunotherapy. I have a background in biomedicine (BSc and MSc) and am pursuing a MSc degree in statistics. A great working day includes coding, data visualization, discussing ideas, and discovering new insights.
